At 25 you do not need every aesthetic procedure. From Botox to fillers, from mesotherapy to “golden thread” injections, social media offers a new procedure every day. So which ones are a real need, and which are just a trend?
What skin really needs at 25
- SPF every day: the sun is the main cause of early ageing
- Cleansing and moisturising that suit your skin type
- Timely treatment of acne or dark spots, if you have them
- Staying away from cigarettes and getting enough sleep
These simple habits do more than any injection and reduce the need for procedures in the future.
Which procedures make sense when indicated
- Chemical peels: for acne, post-acne marks and dark spots
- Botulinum therapy: in small doses, if your facial expressions are very active and deep lines are starting to form
- Biorevitalisation: if the skin is dehydrated and dull
Which are usually too early
“Preventive” fillers, thread lifts and intensive device treatments without a visible problem are usually not needed at this age. Every procedure also carries risks, so “everyone is doing it” should not count as a reason.
In aesthetic dermatology, the most valuable question is not “what shall we do?” but “is it needed at all?”.
