Before and after
Photos shared with the patients’ consent. Every skin is different, and so is every result.

Every skin type is different
That is why I do not work from a ready-made routine. First I listen, examine your skin and ask about your daily care. Then I tell you openly what you really need and what you can do without.

The basics of my approach

Current announcement
Personal acne consultation: skin analysis and a care plan
Autumn and winter are the best time to start treating acne and the marks it leaves: the sun is weaker and procedures such as peels are safer. At the consultation I examine your skin with a dermatoscope, identify the type and cause of your acne, and together we build a treatment and daily care plan.

Frequently asked questions
The questions I hear most often at appointments and on Instagram. I can only give a precise answer about your own skin after an examination.
What happens at the first appointment?
First I ask about your concern, when it started and which products you use. Then I examine your skin with a dermatoscope and order tests if needed. At the end of the visit I explain the diagnosis, the treatment plan and your daily care.
How should I prepare for the appointment?
Come without make-up, and write down or photograph the names of the creams and medicines you use. Bring any earlier test results with you. If you are coming about hair loss, wash your hair the day before.
How long does acne treatment take?
The first results usually appear in 4-8 weeks, while the full course can take several months depending on how severe the acne is. Most importantly, do not stop treatment on your own as soon as you see improvement: that is very often exactly why acne comes back.
Is it OK to squeeze spots?
No. Squeezing pushes the inflammation deeper into the skin, spreads the infection and leaves marks or even scars. Come for an examination if your spots are large or painful: they can be calmed down safely.
Is acne linked to hormones? Do I need blood tests?
In some cases, especially adult acne on the jawline that flares around your period, there may be a hormonal cause. Not everyone needs tests. If they are needed, I tell you which ones after the examination.
Do I need to use SPF every day?
Yes, all year round and on cloudy days too. Ultraviolet light speeds up pigmentation, the darkening of acne marks and early skin ageing. SPF 30-50 should be the last step of your morning routine, reapplied every 2 hours outdoors and right after swimming or sweating.
How do I find out my skin type?
You can roughly tell oily, dry, combination, normal and sensitive skin apart at home, but skin type and skin condition are not the same thing. Oily skin, for example, can also be dehydrated. To choose the right care, we assess your skin together at the appointment.
At what age should I start aesthetic procedures?
There is no set age, only an indication. At 25, SPF, the right care and treating acne if you have it are usually enough. I tell you whether you need a procedure after the examination.
Can I have a chemical peel in summer?
Some superficial peels can be done all year round, while medium-depth peels are safer in autumn and winter, when the sun is weaker. Either way, SPF after a peel is a must.
When should I see a doctor about hair loss?
Come for an examination if shedding lasts more than 2-3 months, your hair has visibly thinned or round bald patches have appeared. With trichoscopy and the necessary tests we find the cause.
Is a visit about a sexually transmitted infection confidential?
Yes. Examination, tests and treatment are fully confidential. Even without symptoms, getting checked after a risky contact is the right decision.
How are my data and photos protected?
You do not fill in any forms on this website; online booking runs on the SimplyBook system. I use photos of your skin and your medical information only for treatment and never share them anywhere without your written consent.
