A chemical peel is the controlled renewal of the top layer of the skin by applying a special acid-based solution. When chosen correctly, it is an effective procedure for acne, post-acne marks, pigmentation and uneven skin texture.

How it is done
I choose the type and strength of the peel according to your skin type and concern. The procedure takes 20-40 minutes, and usually a course of several sessions 2-4 weeks apart is prescribed. Autumn and winter are the best time for it.
After the procedure
- Mild redness and peeling for a few days are normal
- Do not pick at the flakes
- Daily SPF is a must
- Avoid scrubs and active skincare for a week
